Emergency Vehicle Alert (EVA) is a simple and dedicated notification app that is triggered when Emergency Vehicles sirens and loud sounds are detected by the phones mic. The app may be useful for the elderly, pedestrians and cyclists as well as the visually and hearing challenged, to help them notice when possible emergency vehicles (or loud sounds in the vicinity) are detected when turned on (and running in the background), anytime a sound over 48 decibels (or 55 decibels while connected via Bluetooth) is detected, both a voice and visual notice is triggered for your safety and protection. Best used when outdoors as indoor sounds can/will possibly trigger the app.
